Takamasa Ishihara ( Ishihara Takamasa?, born September 14, 1981)[4] better known by his stage name Miyavi (stylized as MIYAVI and previously as ?-MIYAVI- and ?-miyavi-),is a Japanese singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer. He has been active since 1999, first as guitarist for the now defunct visual kei rock band Dué le Quartz under the name Miyabi. He toned down his on-stage attire for his solo career which started in 2004 and has since toured worldwide several times. In 2007, he became a member of the supergroup S.K.I.N., and in 2009 founded his own company J-Glam inc..
